Owner app: get paid and fix property details from your phone

In the ClippingCash owner app for Android: record a payment, charge a card on file, send an invoice, and edit a property's gate code, pets and parking without going back to a computer.

The owner app is on Android. On iPhone, owners use the full web app in Safari, which does all of this too. These are the things worth doing from the truck instead of saving them for the evening.

1 Record a payment

Open an unpaid invoice and tap Record payment, or tap it on a completed job. Pick how they paid: Cash, Check, Card (other terminal) for a card you ran on your own reader, or Other.

  • Total received is everything the customer handed you, tip included.
  • Tip is the part of that total that goes to the crew, not the bill.
  • A check asks for the Check number.

Tap Save payment. If the amount doesn’t fit the invoice, for example it is more than the balance, the app asks before recording it.

2 Charge a card on file

On an unpaid invoice, tap Charge card on file. The app lists the customer’s saved cards and fills in the balance. Change the amount for a partial payment, then tap Charge. This needs Stripe connected and a card the customer already saved (how customers save a card).

3 Send an invoice

On the invoice, tap the send icon (Send to customer) and confirm. You get Invoice queued for delivery and it goes out by email. The button only works when the customer has an email address on file and the invoice isn’t paid or void.

4 Fix the gate code, pets and parking

The Gate, pets, parking & access section shows on the property, on each property card on the customer, and on the job. Tap Add or Edit, change the Gate code, Pets or Parking, and tap Save. Your crew sees the change on their next stop at that address. Where property access shows up.
